Lot #16: Vintage Sewing Lot

This lot is one of my favorites considering how many vintage sewing pieces/notions are included it it. Vintage accordion-style sewing box. The box is constructed from wood and features a fold-out, accordion mechanism for tiered storage. The left top lid needs to be repaired. Easy fix. Hardware that came out is inside box. Inside is filled with a variety of collectible spools, thread, & vintage notions. The set includes various brands like J. & P. Coats, Star, Belding Corticello, and Clark's, with many items originating from the early to mid-1900s. Vintage wooden box appears to be a handcrafted sewing or jewelry chest, Made in Brazil.
