Two 13-1/2” x 16-1/2” frames hold botanical prints from Vilas-Mages of Chicago. True Mid Century Modern design frames. In good condition. through the mid-20th century, Vilas-Mages Co. was a prominent framing house, art distributor, and catalog company based in Chicago. Rather than producing the artwork itself, they were a major national supplier that contracted with commercial artists and printmakers to distribute framed decorative art, lithographs, and pastels to department stores and home decor shops across the country.
