Artist: The Beatles Title: “The Beatles Christmas Album” Record Label & No: Apple SBC 100 Country & Year of Release: U.S.A. 1970 Sleeve: Printed Cardboard Label Grading: VG Vinyl Grading: VG Notes: One of the most counterfeited/boot legged Lps in the Beatles catalogue. No worries here this is 100% original. There are only 2 things you must look for to determine if the Lp cover and record are genuine. On the front cover bottom left photograph you must be able to clearly see both of Ringo's eyes. The fakes hide his left eye behind a dark shadow. On the Lp the pressing ring must be 1.5" in diameter. If it's larger than 1.5" it's a fake. This Lp was only pressed at the Capitol Records Winchester plant and they only use a 1.5" diameter pressing ring. This Lp would grade a strong VG and perhaps better. It has been used but not abused. Expect some light surface noise when played. A great opportunity to actually buy a real one.
