Antique Japanese hand-painted porcelain charger, likely from the Arita/Imari tradition, dating to the late Meiji or Taishō period, circa 1890–1925. Decorated with iron-red floral medallions surrounded by dense green and red tako-karakusa (“octopus vine”) scrollwork. The center features a black-and-white landscape medallion framed by geometric decoration, while the lavender-gray border has a pearlescent iridescent finish and repeating wave motifs. Underside displays hand-painted underglaze-blue concentric rings. Unmarked. Minor firing irregularities and variations from hand production. Measures 10.75" in diameter.
