This lot includes 2 paperback children's books of each of the following titles: "Chile Fever A Celebration of Peppers" is a paperback book written and photographed by Elizabeth King. It explains the process of cultivating peppers from planting to market in New Mexico. "A River Ran Wild" by Lynne Cherry is a true story about the pollution of the Nashua River and efforts to clean and restore it to environmental health. The book has full page watercolor illustrations. "How Many Days to America, a Thanksgiving Story" By Eve Bunting and Illustrated by Beth Peck. It is the story of a boy who has to flee his hometown with his family when soldiers invade their home. It depicts the hardships they face as they flee to America. "Richie's Rocket" by Joan Anderson is about the little boy who uses his imagination to build a cardboard rocket on the rooftop of his apartment building. Photographed by George Ancona.
