Antique Family Bible, Circa 19c. Brown's Self-Interpreting Family Bible was published during the mid-to-late 19th century, between 1850 and 1890. First published in 1778 by Scottish minister Rev. John Brown. This Edition was printed later in the Victorian era in Glasgow, Scotland. A beautifully bound heirloom for household records with clean pages for record keeping. In very good condition with brass corner guards and side hinges feature heavy embossed scrollwork, swirling leaf motifs, and floral-like patterns typical of late-19th-century metal bookbinding accents.
