Lot #3: Framed Vintage San Jose Fire Department Historical Print

Starting bidding

$1.00

Time Remaining:

Bidding starts in 0d 6h 7m

A fantastic piece of local Bay Area history and firefighting memorabilia. This black-and-white, pen-and-ink style print depicts an early horse-drawn volunteer "Relief Hose" wagon with firemen stationed outside a vintage San Jose Fire Department station house. The reverse side includes a highly detailed, typed historical document titled "Highlights in the History of the San Jose Fire Department" by Anthony R. Sapena, chronicling the department's evolution from its 1850 incorporation. Very good vintage condition. The artwork is crisp, clean, and well-preserved. The frame shows light, minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. Measurements: Approximately 17" x 21" Pickup category timeslot {A}
