Vintage Japanese Takahashi San Francisco Porcelain Plate – Blue & White Shoho Kiln (5.5") Add a touch of elegance to your home with this vintage 5.5-inch blue and white porcelain plate by the Takahashi San Francisco Shoho Kiln. This beautiful, pre-owned decorative plate features intricate floral motifs and geometric patterns, showcasing delicate craftsmanship that remains in excellent condition. Its timeless design makes it a perfect accent piece for any display cabinet or dining arrangement. The classic blue-on-white palette ensures it complements a wide variety of decor styles, from traditional to modern minimalist. Up for auction is a beautiful, authentic vintage Japanese blue and white porcelain decorative plate/saucer, originally imported by the renowned Takahashi Trading Company of San Francisco. This piece features an intricate, mixed geometric and floral underglaze design. The center features a prominent floral medallion showcasing peonies/camellias, framed by four outer floral cartouches and a traditional repeating starburst lattice pattern. It is finished with a delicate, elegant scalloped rim. The reverse side bears the crisp underglaze cobalt blue signature stamp for 松峰窯 (Shōhō-gama / Shoho Kiln), a prominent Japanese kiln known for its exceptional mid-century Sometsuke tablewares.
