During the clean out of a storage locer, I found these Vintage Cast Iron Skillets - Lot of 2 (For Restoration). Up for auction is a pair of vintage cast iron skillets perfect for a restoration project, collectors, or anyone who appreciates classic American kitchenware. Both pans show significant signs of age and authentic use, making them great candidates for stripping and re-seasoning to bring them back to life. The lot consists of – Skillet 1: Smaller Skillet (Approx. #6 size) • Details: Features an incised number "6" on the top of the handle. • Condition: The interior shows some surface rust and wear to the original seasoning. The underside features a heavy layer of carbon build-up and crusting with minor underlying rust, hiding any potential maker's marks or heat rings. Skillet 2: Larger Skillet • Details: A slightly larger companion pan with dual pour spouts. • Condition: The cooking surface has heavy, uniform surface rust but remains physically intact without deep pitting. The underside features substantial carbon scaling and build-up from years of use over fire or gas stoves.
