An authentic antique wagon wheel hub repurposed as a distinctive table lamp, combining rural craftsmanship with industrial character. Originally part of a horse-drawn wagon wheel, this substantial decorative object has been converted into a light fixture while preserving its original construction and historic appeal. Crafted from solid wood and reinforced with forged iron bands and square-headed bolts, the piece showcases the robust engineering typical of agricultural equipment from the late 19th to early 20th century. The aged wood displays a deep, naturally developed patina, while the iron fittings exhibit attractive oxidation and wear accumulated through decades of use. Its cylindrical architectural form creates a sculptural presence whether illuminated or not. When lit, the open framework allows a warm glow to emerge from within the structure, highlighting the texture of the wood and emphasizing the object's rustic and industrial aesthetic.
