Lot #33: 3 Pieces Uranium Green Depression Glass

Starting bidding

$1.00

Time Remaining:

Bidding starts in 0d 3h 53m

This lot contains three pieces of green depression glass. The two plates were made by Anchor Hocking in the 1930's in the Block Optic pattern, a geometric Art Deco-style pattern. The saucer is also depression glass and was made by the Federal Glass Company in the "Georgian Lovebirds" patten, also in the 1930's. All three pieces are uranium glass or "Vaseline glass" because they contain uranium which causes them to glow a bright green under UV light. See the photos to show this effect. No damage on any of the pieces. Dimensions: 2 matching 8.25" smaller 5.5" diameter Pickup category timeslot {A}
