Antique Royal Albert Crown China Imari-Style Handled Cake Serving Plate (c. 1927–1935) Up for auction is a beautiful, highly collectible antique English porcelain cake/sandwich serving plate manufactured by Thomas C. Wild & Sons at the Crown China Works in Longton, Staffordshire, England. Decorated in the vibrant and timeless Japanese-inspired Imari style, this piece features an elegant, square-molded profile with gently scalloped edges and twin integrated handles. The ornate border showcases an exquisite palette of underglaze cobalt blue panels, hand-painted rust iron-red floral bouquets, intricate gold filigree, and delicate gilt chain-link swags framing a brilliant white center. The underside bears the authentic stamped brown factory backstamp containing the letters "T.C.W." nested inside a stylized crown, officially dating this piece to the 1927–1935 era. A charming, genuine artisan's red paint smudge/tally mark is visible near the inner rim—a classic, desirable production trait confirming its hand-decorated heritage.
