Lot #17: Signed Sherman Earrings Blue Crystals c.1958

Classic mid-century Sherman earrings from 1958. Combination of elongated marquise stones, round brilliant chatons, and a structural fan of stepped baguette crystals framing the outer curved edge. Drop earrings are signed with “Sherman” on clips with patent number. They boast Swarovski light blue chaton, marquis, cushion cut and navette rhinestones. The setting is silver coloured rhodium plating. Earring length is 1 ¼ inch, earring width is ¾ of an inch at the widest point of the earring. All the rhinestones are present, undamaged and securely hand prong-set. The rhodium plating is smooth and flawless. Neither the rhinestones, the plating nor the clips show any evidence of wear and are in immaculate condition for their age. Pickup category timeslot {A}
