Vintage 1930s Trico Nagoya Japan Lusterware Porcelain Sugar Shaker Muffineer 7" Vintage Art Deco Trico Nagoya Japan Lusterware Sugar Shaker / Muffineer Up for auction is a beautiful, authentic piece of vintage Japanese export porcelain from the Art Deco era. This large 7-inch sugar shaker (traditionally known as a muffineer or sugar sifter) was produced by the highly collectible Trico factory in Nagoya, Japan, circa the 1930s. The piece features a stunning iridescent peach/orange lusterware glaze on the domed lid and flared base. The porcelain body is beautifully hand-painted with an asymmetrical design. One side showcases a vibrant scene with a flying bird among blooming pink and red cherry blossoms, while the reverse side features a minimalist plum blossom branch set against a delicate, sky-blue background with stylized cloud motifs. Perfect for collectors of Japanese lusterware, Art Deco kitchenalia, or to repurpose as a unique hatpin holder!
