Germany ITEM OVERVIEW Manufacturer: Steuler Keramik (Höhr-Grenzhausen, West Germany) Steuler Group Design Period: Late 1950s (Circa 1955–1960) Artist/Attribution: Masterfully designed in the signature 1950s modernist studio tradition of Steuler’s golden era, drawing direct aesthetic inspiration from European abstract masters like Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró Steuler Heiner Balzar Objekte Mold / Shape Number: 210/2 (Indicates the classic organic boat shape in its desirable mid-sized format) Item Type: Hand-painted abstract candy basket / centerpiece console bowl DESIGN & CHARACTERISTICS Aesthetic: High-collectible Atomic-era Mid-Century Modern (MCM). Pattern Details: Vibrant, hand-painted interlocking "ladder" blocks in primary blue, green, yellow, and pastel plum tones. The blocks are wrapped in casual, retro black graphic outlines.
