Vintage Mid-Century Ivan Kocsis Framed Indigenous Portrait Art Print (12.75" x 15.75") Up for auction is a beautifully detailed, vintage monochrome portrait print by the celebrated late Canadian artist and historian Ivan Kocsis (1933–2008). This striking piece showcases Kocsis’ signature hyper-realistic pen-and-ink technique, capturing a powerful, dignified portrait of a Great Lakes Indigenous elder in traditional regalia. The artwork features incredible contrast, utilizing masterful stippling and hatching to emphasize textured fur garments, woven details, and feathers.
