Excellent vintage barbering collection housed in a period hard-sided carrying case, featuring a John Oster Model 22 Detachable Electric Clipper, multiple Oster cutting assemblies and a wide assortment of traditional barber tools and accessories. The Oster Model 22 electric clipper has been tested and is working. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, this substantial vintage professional clipper retains its detachable blade and original power cord. The collection includes numerous Oster No. 50 unitary cutting assemblies/detachable clipper blades, with several retaining their original vintage boxes and packaging. Various sizes and catalogue numbers are represented. Also included are additional loose clipper blades, guards and attachments, original Oster electric clipper grease, Oster carbon brush/brush spring packaging, a boxed Speed-O-Guide clipper attachment, combs, barber brushes, multiple pairs of barber/hairdressing shears and scissors, straight razors, grooming tools and additional accessories as photographed. Also included is a Kabeso Solingen Germany No. 66 5/8” straight razor with original box, along with other vintage razors/blades and barber implements. Blade, razor and cutting-tool condition varies throughout the collection, with age-related wear, oxidation, staining, sharpening/use and storage wear present on some pieces. Plastic pieces could have damage from age. The vintage carrying case shows expected age and use, including exterior and interior wear, but makes an excellent presentation for the collection. A substantial old-school professional barber collection with strong display appeal and an interesting assortment of American and European barbering equipment. Particularly attractive for collectors of vintage Oster equipment, barber shop memorabilia, grooming tools and occupational antiques. Oster Model 22 clipper tested and working.
