Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth adorned with the official crest of the Japanese American National Museum (JANM).The white emblem inside the diamond is the institutional logo for the Japanese American National Museum, located in Los Angeles, California. It is stylized in the manner of a traditional Japanese kamon and It is displayed as a red furoshiki, a versatile, eco-friendly square fabric traditionally used in Japan for gift wrapping, transporting goods, or as a decorative piece; did not unfold completely. Hard to explain how unique and beautiful this Japanese vintage book of hand drawn illustrations on both sides of each panel. Illustrations and handwritten notes on Ikebana (the traditional art of Japanese flower arrangement), complete with signatures. or Meiji/Edo period styling variants), and explanatory text layouts.The pages display classical ink drawings of floral arrangements.
