Vintage Cable Cars: 1. The Ghirardelli Wooden Cable Car is a collectible souvenir and candy container modeled after the San Francisco Municipal Railway Powell & Hyde streetcars. Crafted from wood and painted in classic green and red with gold lettering, featuring rolling wheels and a removable roof to store treats. Originally distributed by the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company as a holiday or tourist gift item combining two San Francisco icons. 14.5” long 2. A green plastic friction toy San Francisco Cable Car (No. 504, Powell & Mason Sts.) manufactured in Hong Kong during the 1960s or 1970s as a souvenir. Features a green molded plastic body with black wheels, yellow side decals reading "504 Cable Car Municipal Railway San Francisco," and small molded passenger figures seated inside. Front is damaged need a gluing. 6.5” long 3. Wooden San Francisco cable car music box features classic brass-tone metal grab handles and a "San Francisco" plaque, typically playing a tune like "I Left My Heart in San Francisco". Crafted from dark-stained wood with wire/metal handrails and a brass-colored metal label on the side. Operates via a mechanical wind-up mechanism (often powered by Sankyo or similar vintage movements) housed underneath. There is a part on it that needs to be glued on.
