Vintage Japanese kitchen tools and food-preparation items, some new still in packaging. Several are specifically for making sushi, onigiri, and decorative foods. 1. Japanese grater (おろし器 / oroshi-ki) — green box, upper center Used for grating daikon radish, ginger, garlic, vegetables, etc. 3. Three green-lidded jars — upper left/center These appear to be Japanese seasoning/spice or furikake containers, probably intended for table use. 4. Decorative food/rice molds — white plastic pieces, center-left These are molds for shaping rice or other foods into decorative forms. 5. “Regular Frills” — 1,000 count — center These are Japanese food picks/decorative garnishes used for lunches, bento boxes, hors d’oeuvres, and food presentation. The little colored shapes are likely decorative picks. 6. Large black Japanese food-preparation box — upper right/center This appears to be a vegetable/sushi cutting or garnishing set, with illustrations showing different ways to cut vegetables. 7. Large “MUSUBI MAKER” — right center Musubi means a rice ball. This is a mold for making musubi/onigiri, likely in a particular shape. 8. “TAKAMURA ONIGIRI MAKER” — small black box, right Another Japanese onigiri/rice-ball mold. “Onigiri” are Japanese rice balls. 9. “for ONIGIRI” container — center-bottom This is a rice-ball/onigiri mold or storage/container system, designed specifically for making or holding onigiri. 10. Green-and-white “おにぎり器” box — bottom right The Japanese says おにぎり器 (onigiri-ki), essentially “onigiri maker.” 11. Brown/yellow box at lower left This looks like another Japanese food mold/cutter, likely intended for decorative sushi or shaped foods. 12.
