Released on ABC's revered Bluesway imprint, this LP is a masterclass in laste 60s multi cultural fusion, seamlessly blending gritty psych blues, soul jazz, and deep Latin rhythms. Produced by the legendary Bob Thiele ( famed for heading Impulse! Records and working with John Coltrane and B.B. King). Driven by Victor Aleman's fierce, complex Latin percussion and syncopated drumming pattern, tis iconic dusty breakbeat intro was famously sampled by Cypress Hill for their breakout hit "How Could I Just Kill A Man".
