Lot #371: Armand Marseille Model 370 German Bisque Shoulder-Head

Armand Marseille Model 370 German bisque shoulder-head doll, produced between the late 19th and early 20th centuries (circa 1890s–1920s). The faint stamp visible on the back of the doll's porcelain neck reads "370" at the top, followed by "A.M." (for Armand Marseille), "DEP" (a registration mark indicating it was registered in Germany or France), and "Made in Germany" at the base. This specific model typically features a bisque porcelain head, intact teeth and eyes etc, generally very well preserved head shoulder area - attached to a stuffed kid leather torso with composition hands. The right arm is pinned back in place, see photos. Otherwise in remarkable condition, and wearing the cotton chintz dress shes in, which also appears to be quite old.
