Original vintage photographic glass negative originating from the Zane Grey Estate, showing a man posed beside an enormous billfish/marlin or swordfish with fishing gear. This negative could be around the 1920s and early 1930s possibly. Includes a Zane Grey Estate Letter of Authenticity/Provenance signed by Jerilyn Anne Grey, granddaughter of bestselling author and angler Zane Grey. The letter states that this original ephemera/negative originated from Zane Grey’s Altadena Mansion and passed through the Loren and Romer Grey Estates. The document is notarized. The photograph is just an image of what the negative would look like if you were to develop it or send it into a full app to print I inverted the negative so I could see what it Important: The provenance establishes that the negative came from the Zane Grey Estate; we are not representing the unidentified man pictured as Zane Grey unless independently confirmed. Negative measures approximately 4 x 3 inches based on the ruler photos and is housed in a protective sleeve. Vintage condition with expected age-related wear; please review all photographs carefully.
