My uncle had this piece on his shelf for years.This piece was one of his coolest pieces in my opinion. The biggest chunk of gold fell off the piece of Quartz but it actually wasn’t a bad thing because it allowed me to test it and weigh it. The piece which looks like a gold nugget weighs.73 grams and tested at 20 k. The gold flakes on the rock I took a few off with tweezers and put jewelry acid on them and they held up fine. I have no idea how much gold is on the Quartz piece and if there is any gold inside the specimen. I wasn’t going to put this piece in the auction but I have enjoyed it and its better for someone else to enjoy it than it sit in a box. The gold piece I will put in a small baggie and the new owner can either place it on the specimen or display as a nugget.

My uncle did tell me about this piece but I couldn’t remember were that it was and I found it in the bottom of a box in bubble wrap. If I remember the story correctly I believe the metal artist used jewelry wax somehow to make the leaf/ flower shape on the top of the bar. I did an acid test and it showed clearly its sterling silver. Another super cool piece of cool artwork that my uncle acquired. 

There are exactly 2.364 troy ounces of pure silver in 79.5 grams of sterling silver.

Mint Tiffany Silver Bracelet 7.5 inch Sterling silver Return to Tiffany round tag charm

Have you ever picked up a piece and it felt great in your hand? My uncle Allen met an older gentleman who used to be a millwright and after he retired he made the coolest pieces out of silver and copper. I actually have three pieces I am letting two pieces go and I am keeping one of them. The skulls are made using a sand caste. The carnival board border is made with an engraving pen (one dot at a time). It would take hours to make one piece. Whoever wins this piece will absolutely love it. 

I found a cool bar by the same artist it’s in lot-# 72 if you are interested. 

There is over 3 troy ounces of silver in this art piece. For those of you who don’t know sterling silver. It is 92.5 % pure silver and 7.5 % copper. To research how I derived at over 3 troy ounces ask google how many troy ounces is in 103 grams of sterling silver. You can also google the spot price of silver in CAD. There is allot of silver in the art pieces making it not only super cool but a great way to stack silver and accumulate wealth once it goes on its next run. 

The artist chose sterling as it makes a better caste in his opinion. The piece was tested at Canada Gold and tested 925 sterling silver.

This piece I struggled with putting in the auction because in my opinion it will increase in value and is a rare collectible. The story regarding how the Tarot  card set came to be is incredible. This piece is a great investment and will be sure to go up in value. This piece is the Holy Grail of surrealist pop-culture  history!   

The Coolest Story About The Piece:

The story of this masterpiece begins with an unlikely Hollywood commission.
In 1973, legendary film producer Albert "Cubby" Broccoli contacted Salvador Dalí to design a custom prop tarot deck for the upcoming James Bond film, Live and Let Die. The deck was meant to be used on-screen by the beautiful psychic character, Solitaire. Inspired by his wife Gala’s deep fascination with mysticism and card reading, Dalí eagerly accepted the project.
However, the collaboration quickly fell through when Dalí’s financial demands proved to be too astronomical, even for a Hollywood blockbuster budget. The producers ultimately replaced Dalí with artist Fergus Hall, whose Tarot of the Witches deck appeared in the final film.
But Dalí refused to abandon his vision. He spent the next decade meticulously completing all 78 paintings, infusing traditional occult archetypes with surrealist iconography—including butterflies, ants, and melting silhouettes. He even left a few inside jokes in the artwork. 

Dalí painted himself as The Magician.
His wife Gala appears as The Empress.
As a final, playful jab at the film producers, he reportedly based the face of The Emperor on Sean Connery—Roger Moore's direct rival for the title of the ultimate James Bond.

ORIGINAL 1984 VINTAGE SALVADOR DALÍ TAROT UNIVERSAL DECK – FIRST EDITION     

I really struggled with putting this piece in the auction. It went on the go to auction pile to the keep pile a number of times because it’s so cool. The piece based on my research is a KATJA or a hand woven Viking bracelet. My aunt and uncle never purchased cheap jewelry so rest assured it’s the best of the best in quality. I encourage you to do research on the piece but keep in mind that some sellers are now making hollow pieces which drastically reduces the weight of their jewelry now that silver is trading at around 100 an ounce. 
The piece is beautiful and chunky it hold over 1.5 ounces of pure silver (1.53 troy ounces of 999 pure silver). The piece is in outstanding condition and has a few scratches that can be buffed out and polished if you choose to do so. I took really close up pictures but you can’t really see the couple of scratches when you look at the bracelet . 
I had the piece tested and it is authentic sterling silver. The intricate, woven &#34;wheat&#34; or &#34;foxtail&#34; texture resembles the ancient wire-weaving methods used during the Viking Age. Norse craftsmen pulled long strands of silver wire through drawplates to weave heavy, flexible bracelets. It is definitely a statement piece and is heavy and feels substantial in the hand. The box clasp is very sturdy and just shows high quality.
