- Pair of vintage William Shakespeare bookends. 
- Antique 1920-1925
- Made from solid cast iron and feature a highly detailed, three-quarter relief bust of the Bard set against an ornate, architectural archway
- The bookends feature an integrated nameplate reading &#34;SHAKESPEARE&#34; right beneath the bust and finished in a bright gold-toned paint that mimics a gilded or bronze patina.
- The reverse sides feature a classic rough-textured casting texture
- The bookends are in good antique condition with structural integrity fully intact. The gold finish shows an attractive aged patina, with minor surface scuffing, paint wear, and small flecks of white transfer along the bottom edges and underside from age and shelf use (as shown in photos).
