Vintage Tasco Deluxe high-quality microscope, made in Japan, in its original fitted wooden carrying/storage case. Microscope is marked: Tasco Reg. No. 37 750Z 50X–750X Zoom Made in Japan Rotating multi-objective nosepiece Adjustable focus Mirror illumination beneath the stage Includes three small labelled glass bottles: Rhodamine Methylene Blue Canada Balsam Bottles retain some contents/residue. Contents have not been tested or verified and should be treated as vintage collectible/display material only. The original wooden case retains its Tasco Deluxe “High-Quality Microscope” label and fitted Styrofoam interior. Condition: Vintage used condition. Microscope appears clean overall with bright chrome components and age-related wear. Optics and magnification have not been fully tested. The fitted case has several empty moulded compartments, so the set is incomplete. Slides, preparation tools and/or other accessories originally supplied with the kit may be missing. Only the microscope, three bottles, case and items shown in the photos are included. Wooden case shows scratches, staining and age-related wear, including damage/splitting at the lower corner. Interior Styrofoam also shows wear and discoloration. A nice vintage Japanese Tasco microscope set for a collector, science display, educational collection, or restoration/use.
