Lot #108: Kiff Holland Framed Boat Print

Framed print after a work by noted Canadian artist Kiff Holland (b. 1942). Born in South Africa and formally trained at the University of the Witwatersrand and Johannesburg School of Art, Holland immigrated to Canada in 1975 and became closely associated with the British Columbia art community. He is a past president of the Federation of Canadian Artists and was elected a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society in 1992. His work is particularly recognized for its treatment of light, color and reflection. This quiet lakeside composition features three small boats tied alongside a dock, their reflections extending across the water toward a wooded shoreline.
