Lot #85: Vintage Hand-Painted Ceramic Gothic Chess Set with Matching Board

Uncle passed a couple years ago - Aunt and I are downsizing her place as she moves. Much of what you see on this MaxSold auction is for her. He liked to buy stuff. And put most of it on a shelf to look at apparently. I mention this every 7 lots or so. Vintage Medieval/Gothic Ceramic Chess Set This is a vintage hand-painted ceramic chess set featuring a detailed medieval/gothic theme. Comes with the framed ceramic tile board. Every piece is intricately detailed with metallic gold and silver accents against a glossy white finish. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Paint lines are very clean, and the glaze holds a beautiful, glossy shine. No chips or cracks. Complete set - Gold vs Silver. Board is good shape - in 4 pieces - not as crisp on the paint on that one. I remember it on display in a cabinet for years and it has been wrapped up in a box since 2010 - so says the newspaper it was wrapped in. Pickup category timeslot {A}
