This is an amazing antique magic lantern, also commonly referred to as a stereopticon or glass slide projector.  These were popular from the late 19th to the early 20th century and were the earliest ancestors of modern slide projectors and movie projectors.  It includes a top metal lamphouse/housing box with a small access door, a central stage or slide carrier section, a flexible red accordion bellows and a heavy brass barrel lens at the base. It has wonderful optics.  The bellows are not cracked or damaged in any way and are still very flexible.  The central stage or slide carrier section is made of wood and can hold two 4&#34; x 5&#34; negatives or positives.  Has its original cloth-covered cord which appears to be in good condition and felt safe to use. As you can see in the photos the bulb is in working order. Comes in its original transport box.  This model was made around 1900 by the famous early photography firm Underwood & Underwood.  This projector is known as the &#34;Academic&#34; model large-format slide projector.

Antique Magic Lantern

This is a large antique copper bucket.  Buckets such as this were historically hand-hammered; see the second photo for a good view of the hammer marks.  It has a heavy forged iron swing handle or bail handle.  Large buckets such as this were typically used for cooking down apple butter, boiling down sugar or syrup or large-scale confectionery boiling of candy and jelly.  The last photo shows the seam.  Bucket is solid, no leaks.

This is an antique framed artwork titled &#34;Child & Dog Tug of War&#34; painted by artist Harry Beard in 1875.  This is a classic Victorian narrative scene.  It is signed by the artist.  The back of the artwork has a handwritten title label written in cursive pencil which reads &#34;A struggle for existence.&#34;  We do not know for sure if this is a print or an original.

Solid Wood Soap Crate/Box with Stamped Lettering

This Thorens Music Box dates to the 1930&#39;s-40&#39;s.  It plays &#34;Pretty Blue Danube&#34; by Johann Strauss.  Made in Sainte-Croix Switzerland.  It is model # A128/4128.  It has a 28-note musical movement.  It is in good working order and when you slide the button on the front it will play through the song and then shut off.  Top shows its age but is in working condition.

These both have a crackled glaze finish.  They each have 3 compartments that can be used to serve snacks, appetizers, etc.  Both are marked Microwave and Dishwasher safe on the back.  They also have the maker&#39;s mark, ND, which stands for ND Exclusive and marked &#34;Made in China.&#34;  Both are perfect - no chips or cracks.

Two Green Ceramic Glaze Finish Stylized Fish Serving Dishes

This is a pristine perfect example of Phoenixville Majolica pitcher made by Griffen Hill and Smith in the 1880&#39;s.  It has the beautiful Orchid Pink inside and a wonderful crisp mark on the bottom.  The butterfly spout is another distinctive mark of their pitchers.  With the size this is most likely to be a water pitcher.

Etruscan Majolica Wild Rose Large Pitcher Made in Phoenixville

This hand painted piece is a beautiful stunning piece of Moriage.  The raised dragon is made by a process called Moriage.  Moriage is a traditional Japanese technique where slip clay is hand-applied to create highly raised, dimensional and tactile 3D designs. It is beautifully painted with golden accents that make it pop and look like it flows from the top of the lid to the bottom of the pot.  We find no defects in this wonderful piece.  It dates back to 1920 through 1950.

Vintage Japanese Cobalt Blue Moriage Dragonware Teapot

We are fairly sure this piece of sign is from the J.J. Newberry store, which was located on the 200 block of Bridge Street in Phoenixville.  We already have 2 identical pieces so we are offering this one up for auction.  The lines and features scream of the Art Deco architectural period.  It does have a crack on the right-hand side as can be viewed in the photos.  That building eventually became Heidi Sue Variety and today is Conshohocken Brewing.  This sign was probably made in the 1920&#39;s or 30&#39;s. It appears to be made of a plaster. It is an amazing find, don&#39;t miss this piece of Phoenixville History or if you do you can always stop by and see one of the other ones we have!

Art Deco Architectural Plaque Center letter &#34;N&#34; J.J. Newberry Co. 5-10-25 Cent Store

At first glance this could be a coffee cup for someone who just can&#39;t get enough coffee! In actuality it is a Chamber Pot nicknamed a &#34;Thunder Pot&#34;.  A chamber pot was a Victorian bedroom necessity.  It has a brown transferware pattern called Shelly.  It was made by F. Winkle & Co., whose maker&#39;s mark is on the bottom.  Based on historical production timelines for the company and the inclusion of &#34;England&#34; on the stamp, this piece was manufactured in the late Victorian era, circa 1890&#39;s.  It is in Perfect condition.

&#34;Thunder mug&#34; - Shelly Transfer Pattern Chamber Pot Made by F. Winkler &#38; Co.  England

This vintage brass cherub pedestal ashtray is often referred to as a &#34;putto&#34; or &#34;Olympic boy holding a raised torch.&#34;  It has a fluted bowl under the figure which acts as an ash basin and features dedicated cigarette indents along its indents.  These are often used today as decorative trinket dishes.  They were commonly manufactured in Italy and France between the 1930&#39;s and the 1950&#39;s.  This one is marked &#34;Made in Italy.&#34;

Vintage Wooden Block and Tackle Pulley

This is an antique brass General Electric streetcar/trolley control panel switch, patented in 1895. The large plate shows forward and backwards with slower and faster marks each way.  The button on the large wooden handle locks it in place when in the middle to keep the car from moving.  A great Steam Punk piece to make into a lamp or whatever you want to make it into.  It could also just tell the story of how to control a Streetcar.  Use this to design a steam punk lamp base, Wow what a conversation piece that would become.

MCM Vidrios San Miguel Blue Thumbprint Vase

Historically hollow glass spheres such as this would be used as a buoyant sphere to keep commercial fishing nets afloat.  While glass floats such as this are often seen with a rope structure around them this one does not have that.  It does have internal bubbles in the glass as well as the distinctive seal button or pontil mark where the glassblower sealed the sphere.  They are often used as decorative decor in seashore homes.

Nuestra Senora de Atocha Silver Coin Pendant

This coin pendant was handcrafted from a silver bar that was among the treasures on the ship Our Lady of Atocha.  This ship, which was carrying almost 50 troy tons of treasure, sank off the coast of Key West, Florida in 1622.  Mel Fisher spent many years searching for the wreck of the ship and eventually located it and acquired the treasure.  This piece of silver is over 365 years old.  It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a brief history of the ship and Mel Fisher&#39;s work in finding it.  Contained in blue velvet drawstring case embossed with Mel Fisher&#39;s name, address & phone number.
