Unusual and highly collectible early electric kitchen hand mixer/beater, featuring a distinctive rounded pale olive-green metal housing, heavy stamped-metal construction, original metal beater assembly, mounting hardware, cord and vintage two-prong plug. The construction, materials and early-style non-polarized electrical plug are consistent with an early-to-mid 20th-century appliance, likely dating to the 1930s–1940s. Manufacturer/model has not been definitively identified, so it is being offered based on its appearance and construction rather than attributed to a specific maker. This is a fantastic example of the wonderfully overbuilt kitchen appliances of the era.
