A wonderfully characterful vintage/antique-style armchair featuring richly carved woodwork, elegant scrolled arms, turned legs, decorative detailing and small casters. The chair has a particularly charming old-world presence, with warm dark wood contrasting beautifully against the richly patterned burgundy/red floral upholstery. The chair has an unusually low seat height of approximately 14–15”, making it especially suited as an occasional, fireside, accent or decorative chair. Please note: The original decorative crest/finial at the upper centre of the chair is missing, as visible in the photographs. The remaining carved framework and decorative details are intact and continue to give the chair considerable visual appeal. Upholstery shows age and use consistent with its vintage character, and the wooden frame has expected surface wear, marks and finish variation.
