Gorgeous vintage ornate plant stand with wonderful old-world character! This distinctive decorative plant stand features a round dark reddish-brown wooden upper section with a small sliding drawer beneath the top, accented by a decorative brass-tone escutcheon. The upper section is supported by an elaborate metal stand featuring beautiful ornamental scrollwork and foliate detailing, four slender formed-metal legs and a circular lower support ring. The legs finish in curled decorative feet. The unusual combination of the wooden upper section, brass-tone decorative hardware and aged metalwork gives this piece a wonderful antique-inspired, Victorian/Edwardian aesthetic. Perfect for displaying a potted plant, fern, flowers or decorative arrangement, or for use as an eclectic accent pedestal or small display stand.
