Lot #195: Vintage Handcrafted Palm Tree Charcuterie Board – Live Edge Wood Slab

A wonderfully unusual vintage handcrafted wooden serving board with a tropical palm-tree-inspired silhouette and beautiful natural character. This substantial piece is fashioned from a thick natural wood slab and retains raw, irregular live edges around the perimeter. The wood has striking natural variation, knots, cracks and darker contrasting grain that radiates through the centre, giving the piece a wonderfully organic, one-of-a-kind appearance. The distinctive elongated trunk and broad branching upper section create an unmistakable palm tree / tropical form, making this both a functional serving piece and an interesting piece of rustic décor. Approximately 21” long x 16” wide at its widest point, with substantial thickness and weight. The naturally irregular edges and visible age/use give it plenty of rustic character. It would make a terrific charcuterie or cheese board, serving platter, bar display, cottage décor piece, or tropical-themed decorative accent. Condition: Vintage/used condition with considerable natural wood character, including cracks, voids, rough live edges, surface wear and variations in colour and finish.
