Dynamic 1987 composition features two stylized whales (beluga/bowhead) mounted on a textured, integrated central stone base mimicking a caribou antler display. Hand-carved from deep green variegated serpentine stone with a polished finish. Artist: Kootoo Munno (Iqaluit / Frobisher Bay, Nunavut) Year: 1987 Material: Serpentine Stone Condition Notes (Please Review Photos): Being sold As-Is with noted condition issues common for aged stone sculptures: One fluke (tail tip) is missing/broken off on the top whale. Visible vertical hairline fracture/crack line on the tail section of the lower whale (remains structurally attached but delicate).
