 Curated by Andrew Bolton, the accompanying publication Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty details the full breadth of his career from his early runway collections to his final masterpieces.
The exhibition first premiered at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2011, breaking attendance records. It later transferred to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London in 2015. 
Core Themes: It explored McQueen&#39;s visionary design methods, combining traditional Savile Row tailoring with avant-garde technology, theatrical performance art, and intense natural elements. The photos of the inside of the book are from my copy. the one for sale is sealed.

Vintage spelter metal cast of the rearing horse on the decorative base  with a piece attached to his head. It was most likely a lamp base (with lamp being most probably a globe). The top can accommodate large candle or - if you have one of the glass globes - the globe (put remote controlled lights inside and you have a lamp without complicated wiring:))).

Pic with water bottle is for size reference. This vase is so hard to take photos of in order to fully show it... The light and whatever background is - reflect on it creating lines and uneven geometric reflections which is not accurate to the finish that looks evenly shaded. It  has iridescent effect that is not top glaze but imbedded IN the glass(!) but when light hits inside - one can see blue art glass swirls.. So unusual...Approx 10&#34; tall/ slanted artsy top edge [which means the top edge is not just cut off levelled but higher on one side (almost 10&#34;) and lower on the other (9.25&#34;). It is only a slight slant but gives it its even more artsy look..

Old RANKAKUJI Japanese eggshell porcelain pieces that include 3 teacups, 4 saucers, creamer & covered sugar bowl, 6 dessert plates. These are eggshell thin with earthy red (brick red color), black and gold accents. Note some ware especially when it comes to gold accents (most  on saucers) as these are original, vintage and have been used. The hallmark on the bottom is &#34;tokusel&#34; hallmark.  Eggshell porcelain is an extremely thin, lightweight, and translucent type of ceramic known in Japanese as rankakuji, (rankaku means eggshell).

NEW&#34;BISOULOVELY&#34; Alyssa Earrings/ rose gold plated  925 silver/ Lakeshore & Islington area pick up. The cubic zirconias are stunning - heart shaped pale rose color on the top part and multicolor changing shimmer (from blue, green to pink) on the bottom stars... Pic with quarter coin for size reference.
Thick Plating: Most Bisoulovely pieces feature rhodium, 14KT yellow gold, or rose gold plating over the sterling silver. Occasionally, a very thick layer of plating can accidentally fill in or completely cover a faint laser-engraved or stamped hallmark. The composition is on the BISOULOVELY website under ALYSSA EARRINGS. Note that I did not find hallmark on these (maybe if one had a super magnifying loupe) and that is consistent with BISOULOVELY explanation about the thick goldplated layer that can sometimes fill in the stamped hallmark. Note the BISOULOVELY inscription on the back though.

Original Irish pottery pieces by Stephen Pearce/ famous SHANAGARRY pottery/. The gravy boat has a broken handle that was fixed/ glued together. The glaze inside is an irregular color (not dirt).
