Vintage L'Auberge de l'Ill Menu Print – Hand-Signed & Inscribed by Jean-Pierre Haeberlin (11.5" x 14.5") An exceptional piece of culinary history for collectors of Michelin-star memorabilia and fine French art. This beautiful, large-format watercolor print features the serene banks of the Ill River in Alsace, France, home to the legendary three-starred Michelin restaurant, L'Auberge de l'Ill. This specific piece is uniquely hand-inscribed "Amicalement" (With friendly regards) and hand-signed in pencil by the legendary co-founder and artist himself, Jean-Pierre Haeberlin. About the Artist: Jean-Pierre Haeberlin (1925–2012) was a celebrated French restaurateur and an accomplished fine artist who trained at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Strasbourg. Alongside his brother, Chef Paul Haeberlin, he transformed their family restaurant into a world-renowned gastronomic temple that held three Michelin stars for over 50 consecutive years. While Paul masterminded the kitchen, Jean-Pierre designed the iconic riverside gardens, curated the elite dining atmosphere, and personally painted the seasonal watercolors that graced the restaurant's famous menus. Item Specifics & Details: Artist: Jean-Pierre Haeberlin (Printed signature in image matrix; authentic hand-signed signature in graphite pencil below). Inscription: Hand-written in pencil "Amicalement" on the bottom left. Subject: The scenic Ill River setting of L'Auberge de l'Ill (Illhaeusern, Alsace, France). Medium: High-quality lithographic/offset watercolor print on textured cardstock. Dimensions: 11.5" x 14.5" Framing: Housed in a vintage, minimalist aluminum compression clip frame with clean cardboard backing. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The artwork has been well-preserved under glass, keeping the original paper bright and protecting the delicate pencil signature and dedication from rubbing or fading. Collector's Note: Unlike standard commercial souvenirs, this large-format print was hand-signed at the property by Jean-Pierre Haeberlin as a personal token of hospitality for a VIP guest or friend of the restaurant. It represents a beautiful convergence of mid-century French haute cuisine and classical landscape art Nearest intersection Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue Pickup category timeslot {A}
