The print is a framed under glass reproduction of a famous 17th-century double-hemisphere map titled &#34;Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Tabula&#34;, originally created by the celebrated Dutch cartographer Nicolaes Visscher I (and later updated by his son, Nicolaes Visscher II) - Nicolaes Visscher (sometimes cataloged via his publisher variants, such as Jan Jansson&#39;s Novus Atlas). Circa 1658–1679, published in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The map features a distinctive layout with two primary global hemispheres, two smaller polar projection hemispheres nestled between them at the top and bottom, and elaborate, highly detailed allegorical illustrations filling the corners.
