The print is a framed under glass reproduction of a famous 17th-century double-hemisphere map titled &#34;Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Tabula&#34;, originally created by the celebrated Dutch cartographer Nicolaes Visscher I (and later updated by his son, Nicolaes Visscher II) - Nicolaes Visscher (sometimes cataloged via his publisher variants, such as Jan Jansson&#39;s Novus Atlas). Circa 1658–1679, published in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The map features a distinctive layout with two primary global hemispheres, two smaller polar projection hemispheres nestled between them at the top and bottom, and elaborate, highly detailed allegorical illustrations filling the corners. These corner vignettes depict classical mythological scenes, including representations of the four seasons and celestial chariots
