Art Nouveau Cast Metal Floor Lamp with Ornate Floral Scrollwork

1968. While Klussmann is primarily known in Canadian art circles for his classic oil paintings of winter landscapes and Northern Ontario swamps, he also created detailed monochromatic nature and wildlife scenes. This specific composition depicts a lone timber wolf howling in a snow-covered evergreen forest. The presence of the second cursive signature below the frame line as Albert Rauch—suggests that this piece was likely a direct gift, a personal dedication from Klussmann, or an officially cataloged piece from Rauch's private collection.
