This pocket-sized export piece is decorated with a detailed, asymmetrical floral motif featuring violet, blue, and white blossoms set against a dark background, accented with fine brass wirework spirals (cloisons) and geometric borders.
The vase features a traditional, unadorned brass baseplate and a green counter-enameled interior throat, characteristic of early Japanese export wares produced in historical workshops. This piece serves as an exceptional visual reference tool for collectors, showcasing the raw, unmanipulated manufacturing processes of turn-of-the-century Japanese craftsmanship.
Dimensions:

The exterior features a widespread, soft, non-bright yellowish/off-white dusting under UV, verifying the natural mineral impurities of a century-old glaze and an aged organic surface patina. Absolutely no modern plastic epoxies, fills, or contemporary composite repairs are present.
