Hand-painted Japanese glazed ceramic liquor decanter modeled as a traditional Tanuki (raccoon dog) wearing a blue workman's happi coat. Holds traditional Japanese lucky symbols: credit account book (Tsū / 通) in right hand and sake jug (Sake / 酒) in left hand. Stamped on back of coat with brewery logo and retains original rear paper label: "CHERRY SASA - A Wine Speciality Made From Cherry Wine, Honey and Natural Flavors". Produced by Sasaichi Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Yamanashi, Japan) and imported by Tohkoma Products Co. (Los Angeles, CA). Volume: 1 Pint 4 oz (13% ABV). Features original cork stopper fitted at top of head. Condition Report Vintage pre-owned condition. Glaze and hand-painted details remain bright and intact with gold-tone accents. Original paper label on back shows light edge wear and aging consistent with age. Cork stopper is present and intact. No visible chips or cracks observed. Note: It still has liquid.
