Handmade studio art pottery yarn bowl with a beautiful rounded form and multiple curved openings around the sides for feeding and guiding yarn while knitting or crocheting. Features a rich earthy glaze in shades of purple, lavender, brown, cream and blue-gray, with raised flowing abstract designs around the exterior. The glaze and handmade construction give this piece a distinctive one-of-a-kind studio pottery appearance. The underside appears to be artist signed/marked, although the signature is difficult to decipher. I would not attribute it to a specific potter without further identification.
