This is an outboard jet drive conversion lower unit manufactured by Outboard Jets in San Leandro, California. Designed to replace a standard outboard motor&#39;s lower unit and propeller, it converts the engine into a jet pump system ideal for shallow-water boating. The assembly features a red volute housing that encloses the impeller, a long vertical splined drive shaft that connects directly to the engine&#39;s powerhead, and a rear reverse gate for directional control. The taped bag holds installation hardware, while the separate metal linkage rod at the bottom assists with shift and steering connections. Untested. As found with a package of connector hardware.
