Japanese 10 Yen coin from the Shōwa era, specifically minted in Year 47 (1972). Coin Details Face Value: 10 Japanese Yen Obverse (Front): Features the Phoenix Hall of the Byōdō-in temple in Uji, Kyoto, surrounded by the kanji for "Japan" (日本国) and "Ten Yen" (十円). Reverse (Back): Displays the denomination "10" and the year marker 昭和四十七年 (Shōwa 47, corresponding to the Western calendar year 1972) framed by an evergreen tree wreath.
