Lot #774: Vintage 1920s–30s Noritake Hand-Painted Porcelain Two-Handled Bowl – M in Wreath

Vintage Noritake hand-painted porcelain two-handled serving bowl featuring a dramatic black ground with intricate gilt floral decoration, black-and-white patterned border, raised gold accents and substantial gold-tone handles and rim. Marked on underside with the green Noritake “M in Wreath” / Hand Painted / Made in Japan backstamp, dating the piece to the early 20th century, likely 1920s–1930s. The interior has noticeable amber/brown discoloration and staining from having stored frankincense granules for many years. Gold decoration shows age-related wear. Please review photographs carefully for condition. An attractive example of early Noritake decorative porcelain despite the interior staining. Dimensions: 6.75” w Pickup category timeslot {A}
