Lot #17: Very Vintage TriPod Vehicle Bumper Jack.

I can remember my Dad using this on his vehicles to change a tire etc. in the mid 60's, to the mid 80's still. It's very strong & sturdy, although not very pretty anymore. This is probably more for the Collectors out there, but it still works just as good now as it did back then. Everything grabs, cranks and turns nicely. It features a triangular metal frame with wide foot pads for stability on soft or uneven ground, a hand crank at the top, and an adjustable hook mechanism to grab a vehicle's bumper, and folds up for better storage. These were commonly used in the 50's & 60's, but then again the bumpers were stronger back then too. I'm sure it can be used for more than just lifting a vehicle though. Dimensions: 33.5 in.
