Overview Type: Commemorative shelf or mantel clock. Maker: Likely produced by the Blackforest Clock Company of Toronto, Canada (later known as the Forestville Clock Company), which commonly imported mechanical movements from Germany and housed them in local wood cases. Era: Circa 1937, created to celebrate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on May 12, 1937. Design: Dark wood veneer case with an Art Deco-influenced rounded rectangular profile and a brass-toned bezel framing the face.
