This large 11.5-inch console bowl features the highly collectible "Pretzel" pattern (#150), originally manufactured by the Indiana Glass Company starting in the late 1930s. The clear pressed glass features an elegant scalloped/crimped rim and stands gracefully on three beautifully molded scroll feet. The underside of the base showcases the distinct interlocking curved arches that give the "Pretzel" pattern its name. The interior is decorated with a breathtaking, heavy Sterling Silver Overlay—likely applied by the renowned Silver City Glass Company or Rockwell. The design features alternating panels of classical floral urns, flowing Rococo scrolls, floral motifs, and continuous beaded trim. Condition Report: Silver Overlay: Excellent antique condition. The silver application is incredibly crisp, thick, and intact with no major peeling, lifting, or missing elements of the intricate pattern.
