Vintage Estate Ring Lot of 6 – Uncas Signed Band (Size 8), Functional Mesh Belt Ring Stamped Japan, Purple Cabochon Statement Ring, Abalone & Engraved Inlays. 6-piece lot of vintage silver-toned estate rings, featuring a wonderful blend of signed historical mid-century costume jewelry, striking gemstone styles, and unique collectible designs. This curated collection spans several eras of design, making it an excellent opportunity for collectors, vintage resellers, or enthusiasts of unique wearable art. Ring 1: Signed Uncas Wide Band (Size 8)Features: A classic, high-shine wide comfort band.Hallmarks: Stamped inside with the official Uncas "U" with a horizontal arrow through it Ring 2: Mechanical Mesh Belt-Buckle RingFeatures: A rare, fully functional miniature belt and buckle design made of a flexible woven metal mesh that unfolds.Hallmarks: Stamped "JAPAN" on the interior mechanics. Ring 4: Iridescent Abalone Shell Inlay BandFeatures: A sleek, low-profile band highlighting a polished segment of colorful, ocean-inspired abalone shell inlay. Ring 5: Engraved Chevron Geometric BandFeatures: A detailed band accented with engraved geometric notches and dark contrasting recesses. The "U" with an arrow running through it belongs to the Uncas Manufacturing Co., founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1911 by Italian immigrant Vincent Sorrentino. Providence was known as the "Jewelry Capital of the World" during the 20th century, and Uncas became one of its absolute giants. Collectors actively hunt for the classic "U-Arrow" hallmark, which was heavily utilized from the 1920s through the late 20th century. Woven metal mesh rings with functional belt buckles stamped "JAPAN" are highly collectible relics of the mid-century fashion boom (roughly 1950s–1970s). Following WWII, Japanese factories excelled at creating highly inventive, mechanical costume jewelry utilizing complex woven wire. Finding these with completely functional, unbroken buckle hinges adds immediate value for vintage novelty jewelry enthusiasts. Pickup category timeslot {A}
