It is completed with a secure, custom sleek box clasp. Brand / Designer: The GLD Shop (Stamped "GLD") Style: Cuban Link (Curb) Chain Metal Base: 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel (Stamped "316L") Finish: Yellow Gold Plating / Vermeil Clasp Type: Integrated Box Clasp The GLD Shop was co-founded in 2015 by Christian Johnston and Dan Folger in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Driven by a mission to blend elite hip-hop streetwear culture with accessible, durable luxury, the brand migrated its headquarters to Miami, Florida. GLD has since transformed into an international lifestyle giant, famous for custom-crafted chains designed for high-profile athletes and musicians, as well as carrying official partnerships with major sports leagues like the NBA and NFL. Crafted with a 316L stainless steel base, this specific piece represents the brand's popular "everything-proof" urban line. 316L steel is highly coveted in everyday luxury fashion jewelry because it is inherently hypoallergenic, sweatproof, and resistant to corrosion or tarnishing.
